01 / A better exit
Screen’s done.
Now what?
A good next step starts with knowing who accepts your TV—and what you need to know before getting there.
Directory status
In development.
We haven’t published any recycling listings yet. This page is a starting point, not a local search service.
The planned directory will include accepted TV types, location, fees or restrictions, source links, and the date each entry was checked.
No location is being requested or collected.Available now / United States
Start with an
official resource.
The US Environmental Protection Agency provides general electronics donation and recycling information, including links to organizations that help people explore options.
Read the EPA guideExternal website · General electronics guidance, not a guarantee that a program accepts your TV. Outside the US, begin with your local public waste authority.
Before you make a trip
A quick call
can save a drive.
Confirm these details directly with the program you plan to use.
- 01
Will you take this TV?
Give the screen type, size, and condition. Mention a cracked or damaged screen.
- 02
What does it cost?
Ask about fees, size limits, residency rules, and any proof you need to bring.
- 03
How does the handoff work?
Check current hours, appointment requirements, and whether collection or drop-off is available.
- 04
How should I prepare it?
Ask the program for handling and transport instructions for your TV’s condition. For a smart TV, check the manufacturer’s instructions for removing personal information.
A few things to know
Before we get ahead of ourselves.
Can you recommend a recycler near me?
Not yet. We don’t have verified local listings, and this prototype doesn’t use your location. Start with your local public waste authority or the EPA resource above, then confirm acceptance directly.
Does a broken screen mean the TV cannot be repaired?
This site can’t diagnose a TV or quote a repair. If you’re exploring repair, ask the manufacturer or a qualified repair service for an assessment of your specific model and damage.
Can I submit a recycling location?
Submissions aren’t open yet. We plan to add a feedback route alongside a review process, so a suggestion won’t be presented as a verified listing.
